Social media is steadily going to hell as usual. Public interest groups easily degenerate into echo chambers of peer worshiping acolytes, with nothing exceptional to say for themselves, targeting the usual easy prey of their own ignorance. With the advent of AI, virtual reality has become an all encompassing escape now, unable to relate or even be applicable to the real world in those terms. With the politics of exclusion and misogyny now socially acceptable in America, so many are not even aware of their own complicity in it. Instead, they seek out each their own following to partake in it. Many keep saying they wish FB was like it used to be 10 years ago, but this shit was already in the making back then. Been there, done that, set fire to the t-shirt, now bugger off.
